A runner and a rower, Karl has always been an athlete, but from age 4, the bike was his first love. He’s been racing for fifteen years, and won the very first race he entered, a short race in Trenton, NJ that ended in a bunch sprint. Not long after, he won a cat 3 criterium state championship and a place on the podium at the Tour de Toona. A confident member of the Empire Team, he has earned the nickname Karl “Genghis” Rahn for his attacking style.
